Branching Out Supported Services is a dedicated disability services provider located in both Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska. Our organization offers a comprehensive range of services to support individuals with disabilities in leading fulfilling lives. We specialize in various services, including day habilitation, supported living, supported employment, respite, and group home programs.
Our primary mission is to help individuals with disabilities realize their full potential by providing personalized care and tailored support that aligns with their unique needs and abilities. Glenn Wrightsman
Executive Director
Since 2003, Glenn has dedicated his career to supporting individuals with disabilities across a diverse range of settings. With extensive experience in both private and group homes, Glenn has consistently positioned himself as a personal motivator, guiding and empowering individuals to achieve their unique goals. Glenn possesses a distinctive talent for helping people recognize that each step they take, no matter how small, brings them closer to their desired objectives. His genuine enthusiasm for sharing his wealth of experience is palpable and benefits both our team and the individuals we serve.
During his leisure time, Glenn enjoys cherished moments with his family, whether it's tending to the garden, immersing himself in the summer beauty of Harding Lake, or diving into board games and Dungeons and Dragons adventures. In the winter months, he fully embraces the season with activities like sledding and building snowmen with his family.
Daniel Wilson
Director of Operations- Anchorage
With a remarkable 16-year career in the field, Dan has carved out his expertise by assisting clients in securing employment positions that enable them to make meaningful contributions and feel valued. He has dedicated himself to cultivating trust-based relationships with businesses, while continually forging new connections. Dan's approach places a strong emphasis on harnessing a client's strengths to ensure lasting success across all aspects of their life. Moreover, he boasts a substantial background in offering both group and individual Day Habilitation services.
Even after Dan's move to Anchorage, the recipients of his care in Fairbanks fondly reminisce about their time working with him, a testament to the lasting impact he's made.
Outside of work, Dan finds solace in the beauty of nature, indulging in activities like disc golfing, kayaking, and camping. During the winter months, he's an avid skier and relishes spending time engaged in board games.
Stacey McAlister
Director of Operations - Fairbanks
Stacey, the Director of Operations at Branching Out Supported Services in Fairbanks, brings a year of dedicated experience to her role within the developmental disability community. Her exceptional performance and passion for the work were so evident that she quickly became indispensable to Branching Out, earning a well-deserved promotion within her first year.
Stacey is known for her unwavering commitment to her job and her ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Her dedication to the role is so apparent that her boss often encourages her to strike a balance and refrain from working on weekends. Outside of the office, Stacey enjoys quality time with her family and frequently embarks on trips to Valdez for hiking and fishing adventures.
Maya Daruvala
Residential Director - Fairbanks
Maya is an accomplished Residential Director at Branching Out Supported Services in Fairbanks, where she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. With a Bachelor's Degree in Human Developmental Sciences and a minor in Psychology, Maya possesses a strong educational foundation in understanding human behavior and development.
Her 5 years of supervisory experience and 3 years of dedicated service in the field of disability services showcases her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals.
Originally from Riverside, California, Maya made a life-changing decision to relocate to Fairbanks in 2021 and fell in love with the community. When she's not busy at work, Maya enjoys fishing and berry picking. Additionally, she finds joy in video-chatting with her 2-year-old nephew, a heartwarming reminder of the importance of family and connection in her life.
